Creating a new identity for the personal injury firm that stops at nothing to provide service and justice to their clients.
Andriotis Law is a personal injury firm specializing in slip and fall, car, motorcycle, and semi-truck accidents. They serve victims in the Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, and Pinellas county areas.
Process
We began with a review of the client's brand strategy framework to determine a baseline for our redesign efforts. We determined that the established brand attributes and messaging were failing to engage the target audience, and set about constructing a new user persona to act as our north star during the design process.
The goal of our redesign was to increase traffic, and by extension, case leads. As such, I felt it important to understand the emotions, uncertainty, and fear one might feel when presented with the scary, expensive, and formal litigation process. They may be trying to seek restitution against a powerful insurance company, or feel lost and confused in a landscape of legal terminology, paperwork, and looming financial hardship.
I then created wireframes for the screens. Our research indicated that users were more likely to contact if they saw their category of issue listed. Seeing the financial success of similar cases was a draw as well, as it gave an indication that there was hope for success. Given these findings, I proposed an animated ticker which would highlight various settlement winnings, and a large client review section with quotes from past clients.
After reviewing the wireframes with the client, I began designing the final UI, incorporating the brand personality elements that surfaced in step 1. Bold, red elements served to give the presentation a confident, courageous appearance. Angular geometric elements added to this feeling, giving the design a feeling of action while also serving to guide the eye to important page elements.
The client's website was failing to deliver new leads. Discovery revealed that Andriotis' brand identity did not reflect their mission to seek justice for victims of wrongdoing, or position them as an authoritative defender of victims' rights.
